What to Expect
« What is Thai Massage? | Posted on 04/10/2009 03:19 pm by Julia RymutSo What Should I Expect During my Thai Massage?
Thai Massage is different from other massage styles in many ways. The most obvious differences is that you are wearing loose, comfortable clothing and lying on a mat on the floor. I will have music on and the lights are dim. I may put some Essential Oils on you.
The first massage is usually general and introductory. Often your first massage is largely lying on your back (if that is comfortable), with some seated stretches at the end. Later I may do massages while you are lying on your side or lying on your stomach.
